Hazel Creek Reading Bundle

A gentle, story-rich beginning to reading.

The Hazel Creek Reading Bundle brings together three companion resources designed to help children move from their first experiences with letters and sounds toward confident early reading — without rushing the process or turning it into endless drills.

Inside the bundle you’ll receive:

• Gentle Beginnings: Guide to Reading — a practical guide for parents, offering a thoughtful approach to teaching reading with short lessons, strong foundations, and plenty of room for childhood.

• The Hazel Creek Alphabet Book — a full-colour 8.5 × 11 book that introduces each letter through story, illustration, movement, art, formation, and meaningful language.

• Hazel Creek Alphabet Cards — a physical set of double-sided cards featuring the familiar Hazel Creek illustrations on one side and the corresponding letter, sound, verse, and language on the other.

Together, the three resources are designed to work as a cohesive reading foundation: the guide gives you the method, the book gives you the experience, and the cards give you an easy way to revisit and practise what your child is learning.

Created for families who want reading instruction to be intentional, beautiful, and developmentally gentle.
